Yep. The attitude to quests seems to shift with time. In the beginning it's way too much to do without quests but later they come to fill an appearing niche.
Doesn't mean they are perfect at what they are now. Feels as it should be possible to improve that system. Not sure how though.
They do give you something to do outside of base chores but i think it should be more interesting than pick up dolomite and bring it to this tree take a naked swim get hunger reduction and come back i also think it needs to be a little tuned down b.c most players even the ones who quest 24/7 dont like it and do it for the stat boost I'm not a game developer so take my opinion with a grain of salt but I do think the system needs to be removed or changed asap.
