I too enjoy the idea of adding inconveniences to the game for the sake of larping, especially when it doesn't affect me.

Plenty of island in the middle of the oceans have been inhabited.
Also, this is a game. No point in adding a feature and making it useless because realism...

Let's make it impossible to live on the mountain top too then, because you would freeze to death given it's an area with permafrost in this game.

Plenty of other stuff is unrealistic, like the fact that you can stay online 24/7 without the need to sleep, or that there is no real thirst mechanism (if u don't consume stamina, no need for drinking. and even if u do, u could just sit and wait)... get the point?

yes -1 for idea that can kill asthetic hermits living for fun in small islands. high quality water is very unlikely (but can happen) to be on them and maybe if these islands are so small, protecting the well might be harder

I like this idea only if the water table is really high everywhere on the islands.

That way you get excited when you realize you can build a well for 20 stones and 3 rope. You build the well, and get sad again when you only get salt water

Having a player spend 200 stone and 50 rope is just a little too cruel

I used to, but it had a freshwater lake on it, so I wouldn't have been affected anyway. Now I live on the continent.

I just don't see how this would add anything to the game. On the contrary, it seems to take something away.

I see plenty added mabye only some prob smaller islands deep in ocean get the salt water well

Making mpre islands open as less will settle on these make ocean wars more viable as after awhile they prob ne abandon cause the hassle no longer worth it leaving it open for next round lol my explaintion is terriable but i thinkits understandable
