and you know nobody playing other than LARPy would stop to rest.

i mean you chould have a universal hearth fire cant spawn at it but chould pull items (like change hat or pull sketch, mabye even a small radius can interact with stuff (put desk near your hf fire and cupboard can fill it or put drying table and cupboards keep silk going, ect))

cant transfer from char but can move stuff around on other side

making inn not only larpy but of some use make it super expensive so cant just plot anywhere

lol idk its crazy (but my moto is theres always a way to make something work and I think that would make an inn as visiting players whould wanna stay near the uni fire when not on adventure in the strange land thay are visiting)

Besides, people would just make sailing bots to travel.

Or maybe going through a vortex should give some massive, slowly healing wound, that would be even better
