i repeat, put a brazier inside, its essentially the same except for spit roast options.

it's not just a functional part, but also an aesthetic one, so replacing a fireplace with a roaster is not an option. Give us a historic hearth that can be placed in a grand hall! can and soups at the same time introduce

We need a a hearth in the kitchen

Postby Vassteel » Sat May 23, 2020 4:56 am

So we all know how tedious cooking can be, thousand of combinations, extremely tedious resource management and sorting.

why not add an object that uses the functionality of the barterstands pushpull system to more productivity in the kitchen by providing a in citchen linking system so you can process what your going to cook at the hearth and then the hearth puts those items in the oven or you can use it to pull the ingredients that you want to cook with without having to leave the kitchen

Yes, have it be made out of brick, and have it produce smoke out the chimney when it's lit.
Tedium is a feature.

Formerly known as DaMaGe. Been playing on and off since World 3 in 2010, but my old account no longer functions.

Jorb has already stated this is going to be a thing once modular housing is implemented. I'm closing this discussion as there isn't a need for the nthe post on something that has been promised for a while.

If someone wants to PM me a link to one of the other places where it has come up, I'll merge them, but I don't have time at this moment to go digging it up.

edit: found the older thread I was thinking about, but the comment from jorb was in the w11 dev stream. Merged the threads.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
