As long as whatever makes it ends up being lower quality than the manual loom I see no problem.

The tech level is a bit above what I normally care for, but I could see the need.

please make clothier's thimble speed up relevant workstations - loom and spinning wheel; perhaps even speed up clothing production

make first tier of tailor credo increase crafting speed as well as sewing skill bonuses, e.g. first tier could be sewing +15, sewing speed +15%

Now that's extractive institutions enforced by authorities to block innovation and postpone industrial revolution :x

Automating the looms feels too much like industrial revolution.

We could, on the other hand, automate a couple of things through the windmill: a sawmill to make boards, and a press to make wine/oil. Those are both quite old technologies.

The sawmill could have an UI that allow you to put a saw inside. That way you could replace the saw without having to rebuild the entire machine.

Both would work just like the milling machine, needing to be attached to a windmill. Ideally only 1 of those could be built in each windmill.

haven't been keeping up with the updates they implemented a water mill where you can use it to saw boards it already exists
