You can walk up to the claim stake and click "renew bond" to do this.

Bonds are not supposed to be a way to forcibly take over a claim.

Okie. Now listen to my scenario. Someone built claim on resource for example and also built palisade around stake claim, i killed that guy, took the key, switched locks so stake claim remain inside without access, and he just can build stake claim outside palisade to renew bond. Is that fair?

No that's not fair, he deserves to lose claim.

Mostly due to your story containing a part "switched locks".

Anyone who carries around a masterkeys deserves to lose all they own.

It's perfectly fair because the claim mechanic is meant to keep hermitages safe. If koing a noobie hermit and stealing their bond meant their home was going to be destroyed effectively in 3 days... yeah that'd be a terrible mechanic. "But the can make a village" doesn't fly for beginners so that argument can stuff it. Many hermits never make a village because they don't really need one.

The proposed siege changes should allow people to bust open claimed resources, arguably it's part of the intent. Quick drying siege weapons able to do full damage off claim sounds like a good solution to me.

how is he supposed to make sure it didnt when both palisade and claim were made by the other dude lol, comment out of ass - have you ever seen a claimed localised resource?

Literally just check to see if the claim extends beyond the palisade, then make sure to fill in that space? It's not that hard

so you want him to palisade the old palisade in? cause that like the only thing u cant bash. what if its close to water and not enough clearance? + he can just come up beforecit dries and hand bash it.

How about making local resources drain presence at a rate impossiblecto maintain under claim?

All of this is pretty moot considering you should have master keys, and probably claims, on alts. This change would only wreck noobs that don't know any better.

I am sevenless and i am white knight who protecting hermitages blablabla. Dude, they claimed water source which they can't even protect because lack of fighters. Why the goddamn fuck i can't take it under my control? Because i even told them to share water with me and they just like " No. What you going do to us? LOL. You can't do shit, go away". And that's why i created this post, because i really can't do shit. This is so unfair.

waiting for new siege system i guess..
