I think I like the idea, but I hope we get more use for archers and foot soldiers, since it still seems to be a lot of waiting, marksmanship as a whole has been in an awkward place for awhile Id like to see some further development of them and maybe some uses for them in siege, such as you need MM characters to man the towers for further range or more damage, maybe even being able to shoot out of them to enemies.

And maybe a counter to that could be your own archers that shoot back with some special siege arrows, unsure, I dont have too many comments about this siege implementation that wouldn't derail into rework archery, I think its a good base and numbers and ideas can easily be adjusted and added to this system

In a way or other it will most likely result in one of the following:
1 - Sieging is so hard that it is never done
2 - Siegeing is so easy that there is no way for noobs to defend from it at all

But well see!
Its such a new system and all that its hard to say what will happen...

Maybe instead of archery towers, we could give stone towers a combat use and make it possible to build ballistae on top of them or something to that effect.

No new problem is created surrounding brimstone that doesnt exist already. And considering brimstone exists underground it's highly unlikely that every single one of the things is going to get walled

wonder if you can deflect archery tower shots by spamming wrecking ball or picking them up and dropping them repeatedly

Sounds like a super fun and engaging siege change, gives both attackers and defenders an active role in the ping pong back and forth!

If this change goes through, please consider making it so that siege vehicles can destroy unclaimed walls after a shorter time.

The idea is that battering rams can drill through walls fast enough once they're "at it" that it's more a matter of distance than about the number of walls.

Would rolling the ram then repairing or w/e cause the "charge" to reset?
