Pearl necklace is like 10 pearls? How am I ever supposed to get that many without like botting them?

Go out and look for them you lazy goon. They're supposed to be uncommon. I've had no problem making myself a pneck with pearls to spare without ever touching a bot.

Oh yeah just boil more that's the solution.
Meanwhile my village has boiled around 1k mussels and never seen a pearl either. You honestly think that it's a good idea to boil 10k + mussels for a single pneck?

Meanwhile people got cupboards of pearls on day one because of whatever fucked up hairbrained system the devs decided to implement for God knows what reason.

There was something about spawn rate of them being in inverse relation to the amount of them in existence.

While it looks like a nice idea in theory (and it could work for items that decay, like brimstone) it fails as it didn't take into account that there are quite some that don't consume them quickly (like everyone that is collecting for a pearl necklace, in addition to the the bots that cupboard them).

My guess would be that the first ones that started to boil mussels this world sat on a quite high pile of pearls... and possibly still do.

it works for a few things as long as the pool refreshes a little over time instead of all at once at a given time, even if that time is somewhat variable.

Global pull must depend on online.
This is completelly shit when at 1000 online you will need 4 hours to find glimmermoss
And 5 min with 200 online to find 5 things

Ugh, so I boiled maybe 5000 mussels? over few days, since got my pearl diver credo.
Got plenty of pearls, 0 to 3 per 100 mussels. (3 was only once tho, usually its 0 or 1)
