yes

it takes effort to build up palisade
it gives indication that place is being of someones interest
you can destroy it
you cannot build it on every resource ( water , ground levels )
you cannot have it just by login in and timing

Sorry. I misread the first post. I thought you said "local" resources.

For natural resources, alt abuse isn't really a problem. If anything, labor alts to collect them are early on, but with metal tools, the energy drain for everything but lumberjacking and mining isnt that bad. Digging soil can be pretty bad if you're doing a lot of it, but that's usually major construction projects, not gathering for quality. With the advent of compost bins, hardly anyone searches for soil past q50 or 60 as the bins will start pumping out much at least that good in the first couple of months. Additionally, you have to haul things, usually the bulk materials, and possibly containers or wheelbarrows back and forth.

There's not really anything sensible you can do to stop such uses of characters. You have to do the work one way or the other, so you either do it yourself (burning up energy better spent elsewhere), hire locals that need some benefit (nobody usually willing to burn up their energy, and thus hunger, for someone else), or make alts to throw at the problem where you don't have to care about energy and hunger bars.

One of options for localized resources is to randomly move them some 100 tiles away at each respawn.

I have nothing against using alts when they serve community goals, and someone is playing those characters, they improve the game in a way, and its players choice, sometimes you are bored by playing hunter so you want to play farmer, ITS OK.
my point is about natural resource camping alts that cannot be targeted and they pure purpose is camping for resource

with debuff suggested above players who "play" their characters do not lose anything, 20 mins can be used to do whatever, and resource campers would be nerfed

You mean Localized Resources, then?--salt, brimstone, pit clay, etc. (I do understand translation can cause problems.)

My point earlier was that this has been discussed multiple times since this mechanic was introduced. So far we have the same ideas, and yes, I believe "delay interaction with..." has been discussed already. This is another area we need fresh ideas to present to the devs because they don't seem to like anything presented, or they haven't been able to take the time to add one of the ones that has been.

yes, also we need ALOT less of them. Fix siege mech and "locking" them down won't be an issue
