i like how we get unnecessary randomness on farming and taming and straight fixed to the second timers on local resources.

That's because you're literally a sprucecap that has no idea how to build a meaningful industry or succeed at Haven in general. Quite literally nobody enjoys having to schedule their life around doing in-game industry. There's a reason steel bots exist.jorb wrote:Meh, idk. I don't find it to be that big of a deal.

Well, as part of a group of 3 working adults, with no access to computers during the day and other things to do than check several times a day, we do find it a big deal. As I said, we never attempted taming before because of the time required. We can pause silk if we're away for a day or more, plan tree planting cause we know when we're going to play for 2h+, and crops just grow along.
I honnestly thought you'd see the issues I'm raising. Maybe it's only us, but I don't think so.
Why make a topic now you might ask ?Ants wrote:If it's too much hassle, let other people do the work and trade stuff for the animals. It's easier that way and the animals you'll get will be higher q than wild ones.
Taming is only worthwhile at world start.
Well that's why. Check trading topics this world... I made a joke on shubla's trade topic, cause to get a horse would cost me 5000 blueberries.
The truth is most of them want tokens/pearls/local ressources. Sorry, but we're not gonna pay $$ to have access to that, and we're not botting to get the infamous pearls or ressources.
Sorry if I come as whiny, but we're just sad that progression is walled behind the randomness of the taming sessions. It just feels like we have to choose between progress or IRL on that one.

Do not assume that timers with RNG are not a hindrance when trying to make plans for game time AND having a professional life.
