idk it wasnt hard to not get ganked on roads. if youre really that paranoid dont go through it instead get an alt that can fix that road and then go through.
roads gave pretty interesting and clever gank options and now it has bin completely gutted.

I think it was more this--the repair alt getting ganked--than complete newbs getting ganked.

What if we were able to build roads across the ocean? That seems like a good alternative.

Then trading wouldn't be such a pain and it would still be possible to attack traders.

Reduce the travel weariness of roads or the return of international Charter Stone teleportation would be nice.

No. Roads over overpowered and should definitely not be in ocean.

fuck off with these shitty fuckin ideas its grindy enough as it is quit trying to make the game worse than its already become in recent months. I don't mind having to travel to my dest but going back to the home dock is the only reason trade works ingame at the moment. if that's removed nobody will want to deliver anything and I sure as hell aint going to pay an extra cost for chests and wheelbarrows


I do miss charter stones but I don't think they should be brought back


This would just lead to knarrs full of alts, going to deliver and all hearthing back with a chest

How so? I hate to bring up miners getting the short end of the stick once again but I do this every day because you can only port down roads with a 5% min cost for so long and miners are forced to make multiple trips for mining and then also for transporting the ores.

Miner can port down to the mine, bring an inventory of food and a cart with wheelbarrows, store food at local table, get to work, at the end build a cupboard so he can port back with effectively 8 stockpiles of ore.

In case he's more successful send an alt that changes the full cart for an empty one.

Or build the smelters near the excavation site and only port back a cart with large chests full of bars, plus the lifted cupboard, plus maximum expanded inventory full of then.
