You dumb or what Kaios?

This change would allow you to switch weapon the moment it happens , after which you can just defend.

Should still always be running 4 speed in opposite direction so that doesn't change either just the cooldown.

I don't want to have shenanigans of weird decks that create openings without doing damage and then some script quickly switch and cleave or whatever.

So yeah just to prevent any thing in that direction, feel this would fit better.

But sure if you're an afk wanker and you get high opening first then maybe you have some issue

You mine with a pick equipped and all of the sudden they hit you immediately as they spawn and 4-5 can put you up to 40+ opening right away, which you can choose to either run away from and lower opening until you break aggro with all or most even though some might be fast enough to keep up with you and keep hitting you or you can choose to run and swap weapons and wait out the cooldown while you continue to get hit and have your opening raised. If I could swap to my weapon as soon as the attack occurs and still lower the opening and damage I'm taking without a cooldown that would be great. So suck my afk wanker.

Also it's your own friends and fellow pvp advocates doing lame script shit like that so if you wanna complain to someone about it go complain to them. Go complain to a mirror.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but what is the point of the weapon swap cool down in the first place? Is it there to solve some issue or just there for the lols?

You'd have to dig the exact patch for it out of the Announcements, but if you look to previous "critiques" of the combat system from that point, there were some complaints about people approaching with some silly tool equipped, aggro target, and then beat down that target using a weapon... if I recall right. it's been a while now.

Interesting.
A little sillier than I expected, but interesting nonetheless.
If I were to venture an opinion, I would say the 10-15 sec cd on weapon swap is probably a little excessive.
+1 to some change, whether that be reducing the timer or one of the mechanics mentioned before.

Its there so you cant use the fast sword to create openings and then switch to b12 for damage.
