I don't think they should count as normal pearls (Especially when making pearl necklaces, cause we have way to many of them as it is.) but they do need to be repurposed somehow cause they are kinda useless as OP mentioned. It's just it's already too easy to get pearls as is, we don't need to make it easier.

i saw a cool and unique topic to make them a building material. that would be cool with sketchpages disabled for them. ¦]

Just make MPearls a weaker alternate version of pearls to use in necklace/ring recipes (think red vs yellow onions, except in this case MPearls are simple worse than real Pearls) In fact, with Oyster Pearls there's even a precedent for an alternate version.

Why would they be worse? Anyone even without the credo can make dozens of pearls by the time it takes for 1 mpearl to regenerate. Pearls are not that rare (nor have they ever really been)- it's like 1-2 cupboards of mussels per pearl on average.

yes but youre also forgetting global pool. early world pearl global pool was depleted 24/7.
