Ok but if you do get knocked out by an L5 troll for example it can do something like 200-250+ HHP damage not counting the HHP damage that may have already been taken during the fight, that is quite a lot and it gets worse as they get stronger. I'm not really sure jordan is talking about the level 1-2 trolls in the context of this thread.

I would argue a 10 attribute 33k lp char with nothing but a sword and a spruce cap verse a l1 troll is a "harder" fight than a regular char vs. l9. I mean, they have the same mechanics, you literally just need to WALK AWAY when it's gonna hit you. I'm pretty sure they're intended to have a high grievous%

The main difference in that regard is a punch from level 9 troll at 20-40 opening has a significantly different impact than from a level 2 troll. Running around is a viable option sure but the way openings work makes the fight stacked against you from the very beginning, when something attacks faster than you can lower your opening even when you focus entirely on doing that it's natural that you are going to be constantly on 20-40 opening or more when you are tanking.

I would consider running to be more efficient if the cave-in attack wasn't so unpredictable but really if you take 5-10 guys and some do sideswipe, some uppercut, you are reducing all of that risk to basically nothing as you don't even need to bother trying to run away.

Sure, you can sprint in the opposite direction, but that's not the problem I'm even talking about

IF you eat a KO, the fucker will KO you with the first hit and then slap your shit again as you're on your way to the ground, which has a really high chance of killing you even without rage

It's fine that they're tough, but I'd rather the KO mechanics be consistent at least

Explaining to Kaios is a waste of keystrokes. He has his mind made up no matter how many experienced players school him. Look at his combat thread to get a taste of this.

Removing risk from one of the few end game experiences is not fun.
