ya I could see us either cutting and bleeding the animal into a bucket ect... or us having a hanging rack to attach the animal on and then bleed it out over a few rl hours.

This is actually the proper treatment of a carcass after it is field dressed. I'm not sure villages want dozens of "hanging racks" laying around in addition to the drying frames for hides, but it could be said "well, you just got to make room."

How about this: a curio made from bunny bloody messes and chick bloody messes. It would give people an additional reason to breed high q rabbits. Rabbits breed so fast now that killing babies sometimes seems more convenient than building more hutches.. It's not a bad thing, it would just be nice to be able to do something with the leftovers.
