That's cool dude I'm glad you still decided to make a vague post referencing a random discussion that can't be accessed here. If you are going to discuss everything in discord or tell people trying to post on the forum to go use discord maybe you shouldn't post a thread at all

The fact, that you already have bone clay, and need to use it for potter's clay - creates a little useless of doing next step of craft - potter clay.
Potter clay is worthless, because theoretically bone clay (as ingredient) will always be higher than potter clay. (despite you will have ultra high quality potter's wheel, 2 times more q than your bone clay, and it will happen sometime, after 6+ month of q raising)
Potter clay will still require bone clay, and it means that recipe is expensive, without potter's wheel it is useless to craft, and this potter's wheel influence doesn't justify it's expensiveness.
If, for example, potter clay will require fine clay instead of bone clay - it will be more balanced.

So, i think as there are no active trading for potter's clay on local markets(that means people dont use it) - devs should check balance of it.

Why does that balance have to come in the form of a buff? Would be better to nerf ash affect on bone clay as it shouldn't be a direct addition of something that can easily reach high 3 digit qualities. One ingredient is better than the resulting product so you believe the solution to that is get more out of the end result?

Some people would like to pave with them ya know Kaios? If the product can never be better than bone clay then why do you give a shit if on occasion they get an extra piece? Potters clay uses 3 clays and a brick, if we are being logical here we should already be getting more than 1 piece.

That's a different argument though, he's not arguing that it's too difficult to make for larp purposes but for practical purposes such as building a high quality kiln. If the intent is to instead have something that eventually becomes better than bone clay then you first need to nerf bone clay because it's ease in obtaining high quality is far greater in comparison to potter's clay. Bone clay formula needs to be adjusted so that ash and feldspar have less of an impact on it, instead of Ash + Feldspar + Clay / 3 it could instead be something like (Ash/4) + (Feldspar/2) + Clay / 3 just as an example I don't really know what formula would be ideal.

I can understand wanting more out of the process for paving or any structures that receive colour variation with bricks but then you'd also have to ensure the ability to raise them in quality doesn't become far easier as a result of that if the formula does get changed in the future.

I think it would be reasonable to have water in the bone clay recipe. Seems like it would need some to all bind the ingredients together properly, and it would drag down the quality.

World 10 ran for over two years. I don't know what the top quality well was at the end, but I don't think it was 200 by the end... might have been close. Also, Hedgehugs had a community well that was well over 150, so your issue is what?

Last world the player activity was spread out more evenly between the realms, I don't understand why it's surprising to anyone that when you have almost every single active player feeding in to the same realm that they are going to get huge benefits from that...
