When in truth the solution is quite simple: I SHOULD be able to destroy logs
It's not rocket science

You can destroy logs, through sawing then into boards or chopping blocks.
What you want is to destroy them faster and/or with less work.
Slight difference.

In case you just have too many of them then your complaint is basically identical to the one about livestock taking too much fodder - and has the identical solution of 'grow less of them'.

P.S. I also mentioned i wasn't using bots or scripts, and i don't intend to change that. The day i need the machine to play a game for me, is the day i stop playing said game.

Please look at who I quoted.

'grow less of them'.

As mentioned above, who in their right mind would plant q10 trees? I cleared a small forest to build a village\inn, and i'm now left with hundreds of logs to get rid of. Even if i'm not replanting them, they regrow naturally on forest terrain.

Let me try this again: i CANT destroy them, i CAN chop and let rot, but as stated before it takes forever and is pointless. If i don't need the resources i should just be able to get rid of it.

If you really want to complicate things tho: Why not ask dev to make a special construction called a refuse pit, and let us toss any liftables in there to get rid of them? I mean sure, all liftables can be destroyed already (except for logs?) So it would all be extra steps and trouble leading to the same end result! Sounds like something you'd approve. ;)

Why would destroying a log be significantly faster than chopping it into blocks or sawing it into boards? If anything, it should take longer because you are turning it into nothing.

Destroying as in disposing.

Infinitely stacking into bonfire is real answer here, barely any advantage (yeah fire but can just use matches because siege chess = siege dead) and it's not time consuming at all compared to chop or make board.

The fact this noob mod thinks it's from people growing it already says enough to be honest, do you even play the game or just shit post here?

Because i'm recklessly smashing it into pieces rather than carefully cutting it into boards or chopping into blocks?

IRL ripping boards is a 100x faster than recklessly smashing a log to pieces, and I am specifically talking about doing it by hand.

If this is a real problem, and not an unfortunate side effect of over production, why not ask for a saw mill attachment for the wind mill? That would be way faster than what you are asking for AND be way cooler AND actually make sense.

I have explored many many dead bases, and I have only once seen a significant amount of logs. What's far far more common is way way too much charcoal.

Nice assumptions there. Don't let them bite you in the ass.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Too modern for you?

Remove kebab - also no roach technology.

If you are confused feel free to read the about section, Germanic/Slavic or no.
Otherwise next thing from you will be where are the potatoes. Also no.
