BAD IDEA BAD YOU
Bob, I'm not suggesting we hamstring determined raiders such as yourself. I'm not saying a paid claim should be totally immune from criminal acts. I'm saying paying to make a small claim immune to lazy looters like myself but not to hardworking hardcores such as yourself might help retain casuals like myself.

If you have the idea that due to no upkeep (which is low for small claims anyway) that your shit will be safe, will get struck by a wrecking ball whenever someone cares enough and lose it the same.
You need vandalism and theft to make use of a wrecking ball on an active claim. Those cost a lot of LP for casuals like myself - who are the primary people I'm trying to keep out. Again, I have been a looter myself. I didn't need criminal acts to loot the places I did because the people I looted gave up after a month and their palisade decayed. If they had had a perpetual claim they didn't need to mind for months at a time, they might come back in a few months and not be frustrated because I am a dick who exploits their dead claims.
