The meteor before that dropped ~2 minutes SE of AD/OS, and only one AD showed up. He ran from me 1v1 before even getting in aggro distance. That's the point. Nobody gives a single shit about meteorites. If I have to stay up 30 minutes beyond when I'd usually go to bed I'm not turning up to a meteor, even if I magically knew it would be completely uncontested... I'd actually be less motivated to go if it were uncontested.
Like I said: an industrious hermit could get a meteorite if they really wanted to. (((although I may ruin their chances by making people think there are hermits to kill at meteorites xdxdxd)))

This shows a grave misunderstanding of how people play this game. This is a pointless gang violence simulator, not a nation builder. If there are two people playing haven one will want to kill the other, there doesn't need to be a motivating factor like meteorites. For context there is
more PVP in legacy haven than there is in hafen right now, in spite of the icicles/meteorites/Q600 whale nodes/markets/realms/realm authority batteries(peasants)/blood trees people can fight over.
All real objectives do is cause an even greater incentive for people to ally with literally everybody, scream "coward" and the people they're chasing 20v3, then quit because they're allied to the entire world and there's nobody to fight anymore.
