Agreed, that would break the game pretty hardcore as the world aged.

I don't know chief. World usually lasts for year or so, how many tokens for certain good would be accumulated during this time? 50? 100? You have no control over which good will get that quality increasing. I pretty sure Jorb could collect data for average increment per month for each thing and deside will these tokens break the game or not. I suspect they wouldn't.

My new favorite is an inland tree giving me +1 to Seagull quality.

Deffo should consider having them at least only raise the quality of things that are eligible to spawn around them.

The way I interpretted the suggestion was "You'd get a token for +1 to _____", which means factions would be buying the specific increases to minmax quality.

It's one way to reintroduce spiral, but tbh most spiralling has been cut out of the game so I don't think the devs want that.

Oh, see I read it as, "You'd get a token for +1 to <a thing>" and then would be able to decide where you cash that in, rather than what you can boost.

If devs dont want spiraling they can just get rid of this type of quests. It would be relief to everyone. I don't understand these half-measures honestly.
