that would get rid off most labour alts

This.

So early world exploration is totally screwed in terms of gaining stats? I tend not to settle anywhere for the first few days primarily because of the shenanigans of the player base we have.

Building a table and a chair requires 1 minute (and even cutting the tree won't be a huge problem, if you can just recovery energy without filling hunger). I don't se any big problem on this.

Anyway, I still consider a bit too much having 100% free energy from food. Maybe you can only recover half of the energy if you're eating from inventory?

Really not hard to build a table and chair. I'd actually consider this to be a good thing, since it'd slow you down a bit.

yes, because I total want to spend 5m and energy on chipping stones or cutting down logs to eat food for 30s... I'm all for balance changes, but this isn't really balancing anything, and not really a positive change.

I still think hunger is a redundant mechanic. What does it accomplish that satiations don't?

  • A much better timegating system
  • No incentive to stuff yourself full of literally every differently named food in the game every 12 hours

I don't understand the point of energy though. It's just there to... be annoying? I honestly don't see what it adds in the game's current state.

Energy should also restore when your character is sleeping.
It's not much but would be nice to have.

Maybe energy loss should be nerfed for some tasks like chopping trees, landscaping and running so you could get away with doing theese labours on your main.
