Botting isnt against the rules

It's against the rules and Jorb has stated he will smite anyone he feels is guilty.
This happened in world 7 and 8. the land was turned to a waste land filled of rocks that were unable to be crossed.

Still, I've never botted in a single game ever...

There's a bunch of scripts built into Amber and some of the other custom clients. These are bots, even if the simple "saving my sanity" type. The current mass farming and mining methods were originally scripts in custom clients, just ones jorb and/or loftar thought it would be best if everyone had access to..

I would hardly call simple scripts bots, rather macros with boost. I think that bot has to do something more complicated and longer (like farming) than just taking 12 coal from your inventory and putting it in a furnace, for example.

best bot is bot to create new chars and run sessions via console without video render, and control all your bots from 1 client, playing H&H like StarCraft sounds nice.
if you are not so good you have to run multiply windows and press all scripts by hand.
