Have you ever actually played during winter? Kicksleds are awesome, and rivers and lakes freezing further boosts your mobility. It has a major gameplay impact, but moving kicksleds over patches of non-snow is a lot less fun.

I have played during winter yes, and as much as kicksleds make memeing hunting easier (i realize this sounds negative but i actually quite adore memeing hunting) and transportation becomes less stressful, i REALLY hate having no seeds, no forageables when i have curios that are mandatory to actually make the game playable.

As i said, i would like to get rid of patchy snow, (because i like meme hunting) but FIRST we need to fix credos before we try to get rid of patchy snow.

You guys are getting snow already? I haven't seen a single patch where I am.

I'm sure the playerbase would be willing to have like an hour long "maintenance" to have snow....

I don't remember reading that comment, but I would absolutely be okay with a downtime if that it what it takes

i dont see the problem where we live, everything was evenly coared in snow, exept animal trails, wich now cockblock your sledrides. but it is horrible too find an river that is actually possible too sledge over, your best bet are lakes, but those sometimes only have huge ice shields on one side with and single spot of shallow water between them ,

i shoveled the snow off off my road, and an massive dick intoo my neigbours jard. next ingame night everything was evenly snowed over again. so every 7ish houres every tile gets resnowed.

Yeah, maybe I missed an update or something, I don't remember it being like this before
