I've made a post recently where I found a 64q range in my ore, which imo is too big of a gap. It might be a nice thing if nearby light sources (eg. a lit miner's helmet, torches, etc.) could shrink the quality spread while also creating a cool/sensible roleplay mechanic for the lighting system.
i really just wished they found a way to make caves dark that prevents nightvision . i mean, with the amount of grafical glitches light has, i guess i shouldnt wish for an actuall use of light, but i want an actuall use of light, and have an reason too actually carry and torch/lantern insead of it being JUST an reusable firebrand
