It actually has nothing to do with the const really. The max amount of HHP a player can do to you scales with your max HHP. The issue is more the fact that noobs have no idea that running around with 70% health could very well get you killed where as if you have 100%, you're almost certainly safe. It's a dumb quirk from the way wounds work that you'll really only learn about through experimenting.

Are you sure? What if noob with 20/200/200 HHP left gets cleaved for 500 dmg, doesnt that mean that he will now gain 200 hhp dmg or something? And now even with 100% hhp left he will die.

How did you arrive at this conclusion/destination when I say that a permadeath game doesn't need even MORE risks to it/guaranteed kills on knock?

imho here is too much dmg and too low hhp, q300 b12 + 600str + cleave = 999dmg (333 at 30% opennings)... when most part of hartlings dont have 333hhp and dont wear 200+200 armor all time

we have cachalot with 60kHHP+150 armor and 300hhp+0armor hartlings, and same weapon and same dmg for both of them (atm 600hhp 150+150 armor players = rare thing)

The idea that big factions involved in PVP won't be able to grow pvp alts in mere days is laughable. Its NOOBS who are losing months of progress, for big village with dedicated fighting alts losing their character is just a minor inconvinience.
