No one forces anyone to open leaderboard ui. It would be nice to have build-in feature that allows to check how is the world going on instead of relying on another 3rd party application to play the game.

Then rephrase the suggestion to something like "LOFTAR MEASURE MY BOT-MASTURBATED-24/7 WHALE TROLL HIGH END CONTENT ENGORGED DICK SO I COULD JERK MYSELF OFF TO THE TITILLATING VISAGE OF IT'S GRANDIOSE PROPORTIONS DOMINATING THAT MEASURING TABLE ABOVE ALL THE UNWORTHY PLEBS DICKS' MEASUREMENTS". No objections there, please do present your case for that thing in C&I, I'll even put my meager +1 in there.

Just don't wrap your inferiority complex oh-so-thinly in a "fun activity actually requested by everyone on this server and also all the cool games do this" tapestry of lies, you lying liar.

I'll counter Hasta's bitter and acrimonious -1 with my buoyant and saccharine +1. I'm an optimist. Even if this feature turns out to be extremely botted and we see the same names every world, it's more interesting than not having leaderboards at all.

Perhaps there are some metrics that even the botter community CBA to master? Like 'runestones written' or similar. Yes, it's possible to bot it, but why would you?
Perhaps 'runestones written' is a bad example, but still. Perhaps a 'Devs Favorite' runestone for each world, and what it says? More quality-based ones, rather than quantity?

I'm just kicking ideas out there.

This is why they absolutely would. "They" being the players who want leaderboards.
