Would like a quest popup that noses you into making one earlier than noobs would "get around to it".

You could have small text near study screen saying if character has owned Study Desk or not?

You know what, yeah, it should arguably be visible somewhere that you're linked to a study desk.

perhaps it indeed requires too much bone glue, I think one or two bone glues should be enough

Personally, I find it unusual that there's only 1 study desk. Why are there not multiple tiers? You go from manually swapping curios (0x0) immediately to a full 7x7 grid of automatic curios. For portable containers you go from nothing (0x0) -> basket (3x2) -> box (3x3) -> crate (5x3) -> wooden chest (6x6, nobody builds the coffer lol) -> large chest (6x8) -> exquisite chest (8x8). Each step feels like a meaningful upgrade. For the Study Desk you first have nothing which is a massive disadvantage and once you do the minimum required you suddenly have the best you can get.

It would be nice to start out with an easy-to-construct table (like 2x2) to avoid early swapping tedium, then move on to a more serious 'I can go to sleep without interrupting my progress' version (4x4 or something?) and then upgrade to bigger study desks for more convenience. (For that matter, while 7x7 is pretty big, it would be cool to be able to sink semi-valuable resources into pimping up your study desk even further to stupid sizes.)

too small
please add new 20x20 study desk that requires more/better resources so we do not have to add new curios this often

Definitely need one I can fit 10 2x2 curios on at once, as one can't study too many sand castles.

But to be serious, I'd like bigger, too. Some of the cheap curios that are easy to mass produce are 2x1 in size. If I had bigger tables, I'd not have to log my study alts in as often.

yeah, putting two of each curio still makes you have to put more every few hours(and who likes to be pinned to computer for a long time?) , also who isn't studying things like straw doll for example? they take two tiles and have so short study time

I think it is always better to sit in front of computer when you want to do it and not when you have to do it

or if the size of study desk really must be so tiny they could increase the total lp and study times of curios, but it would be best if we got both of these things

it would still be worth it if you got only one bone glue from raiding someone
and study desks are so basic and must-have objects that they shouldn't have too high cost and why one big ball of glue wouldn't be enough for a desk?
of course if they add new better 20x20 study desk it should cost more than the 7x7 one, but still not too much

or instead of adding new study table they could just increase the space of current one

Yea maybe if you study cat gold. If you want to keep your whole study full its quite difficult without constantly filling your study table. Especially shorter duration curios such as strawdolls you cannot fit too many in.

lmao I craft curios every 1-2 weeks and refill the table every 1-3 days which take like 2mins, I don't think that's too much effort? but regardless making it easier is obviously nice just not sure if neccessairy. In earlygame where you have below 300 int or so it might be a bit different, you have to focus more on getting the best lp/h/int and the best curios for that tend to be the shorter ones but I doubt even then I had to refill more than once a day?
