Hunters credo should allow players to inspect living animals

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

I don't like those lazy-random approaches, would be cool if I could go by some logic to figure out good animal nodes, for example higher base q moose on certain terrains. Also I don't think making nodes static is so bad (as long as there are multiple good nodes in the world xd). Rather making them reset requires more tedium (or botting) in the end. maybe drifting would be alright idk.

Anyway, my top idea would be to remove quality from the game and polish/add content :o

just make animal quality nodes drift, shuffle or completely reset every so often, it makes absolutely no sense that they are static and it's probably one of the dumbest things in this game

I can imagine a future where next Snugglesnail posts "I started botting to keep track of where the hq animal nodes moved."

base quality of mammoths should be 400 so we don't have to spend so much time looking for q400+ mammoths

most of them still have q80, which makes their bones(except tusks) rather weak loot

also, speaking of mammoths, I am still waiting for this suggestion to be implemented!

good idea, it's not like an animal is a static thing!

Dm'd jorb a while back with a long ass suggestion that basically boiled down to taking animal q nodes and normalizing their spread more.
Wider spread with a less severe change in q from base to cap means that you won't run into stupid nodes like how a mammoth can go from q400 to q80 in two minimaps. I'd much prefer many minimaps worth of q350 mamm that gradually climbs up from base q and I'm sure most would agree that such nodes would be a lot less of a pain to both locate and farm.

The ceiling might be lower but if you just do it on a world reset it'll just be a natural part of the world's q balance rather than being a midworld nerf to q caps.

me too!

I think it shouldn't be like this that one village makes a trap close to q400 node and it stays there forever and other villages always have q80 forever just because they have a bad spot
