I don't know, it looks like even this is a major effort for him, don't know how delusional and false you have to be to say such things

There is no way this bullshit is even remotely truthful. Sadly every bit of info on walrus land speed seems to be a repost of this shady ass article. And i cant found any footage of walrus on the run.

Hippos can run very fast. Hippos are close relatives to whales which are close to walruses. Walruses can go on land just like hippos do. Thus walruses should also walk very fast.

I think something that also should matter is the intimidation effect. Walruses are big, when one rushes towards you you will get so scared that you cannot run! Thus I also suggest decreasing max movement speed to crawling when being aggro'd by large animals such as bears, moose and walrus.

Im didn't measured their speed but it seems they are hardly making 8 mph on the videos i saw. And walrus can't execute sea elephants running techniques since it have 2 huge ass tusks.

hearthlings have incredibly heavy feet, poor flexibility and stumpy limbs according to haven lore, so I think the top running speed of a character is definitely not much higher than 8mph

so it makes sense that a walrus, while in an aggressive state, provoked and after a potential threat or meal would definitely be able to catch a hearthling
