for example in salem there is no energy so you do not have to worry about starving to death in that game

but even with energy you have to be very careless to have your hearthling die this way

All combat actions consume "Yellow Bile" which you can't recover in combat. Enjoy getting whittled down by a fukken grasshopper if you miss one too many times.

(I think you could actually outrun grasshopper/rabbit and eventually drop aggro, but it required abusing the poor AI pathing.)

so eat every time after doing combat that drained a lot of yellow bile (yeah you can forget to do so, perhaps it could be allowed to be restored in combat, but we have what we have)

also aren't grasshoppers neutral unless you use a combat move in range close enough to them? would have to be a bear or some other creature, and those are not as common as grasshoppers

unless you sometimes accidentaly use combat moves while being at low level of yellow bile
