both of these cupboards have 50 worms in them, both got 4 fresh picked leaves put in them, which should mean exactly 200 feeds since the "leaves were normalized", yet both only have 1 leaf left and all worms have ate twice.

Leaves were not normalised, they were drasically reduced meaning you need more trees than you did last world for a silk setup. Combined with the absolute lack on information per leaf for uses left, everything about this chance is just worse than before.

IMO, fix it by actually normalising it and just giving leaves a flat 50 uses and display their uses, or just revert the entire change. Silk making has been made EVEN MORE TEDIUS, this is not a good change. I can't tell if this is just an oversight or some backwards attempt to combat botting. But changes like this incentivise botting more.

nah its some random range, we've had one cupboard where 4 leaves has been fine with one left (so a couple uses left over i guess) and others where we've had to use 9 leaves for 50 worms. Its massively inconsistent and horrendously reduced from the old gauranteed 250 feedings (leaves) that the trees used to give.

Yesterday we got couple of cupboards 48 silkworms each, filled each cupboard with 2 leaves, then added 2 more, and then 5 leaves for overnight
On the morning some of the silkworms died. Nice change indeed

I don't get it... the complaint is about leaves having randomized amount of usages and all, but you only have to put a small amount of leaves in there. Isn't that drastically better and easier than having to put 4 leaves per worm in there, like before? It just seems like not a big deal at all compared to before, considering you put ONLY 4 LEAVES in a CB jam packed full of worms and they all fed twice.

What am I missing? Perhaps I need to go actually read the patchnotes lol. I'm 100% sure I'm missing something here.

I think there is no charge notice. So you might need a little leaves or alot who the fuck knows.

You can never be sure if you have put enough leaves in your CB, because we don't know what's minimal amount of charges per leaf. It might be 1. It might be 25. We have to know it to not lose any larvae.
