Re-plowing already plowed fields is not a complexity. It is pure tedium. There is no challenge in re-plowing fields into the exact same layout they already were. Tedium can have its value as an incentive to upgrade (e.g. firebrands which you increase with increasingly better lighting tech which remove the tedium), but you are suggesting to add tedium with no added counterplay, in the process actually nerfing previous tedium reduction upgrades (as you point out, this will lead to smaller fields, making the metal plow less useful as the wooden plow is sufficient for small fields).

But the worst part of all this is that this significant tedium is entirely negated by extremely simple botting. Bot factions will still have massive fields while this rapidly becomes too tedious for non-botters, giving botters a significant advantage.

If fields get ploughing too intensive then Mother Nature gets angry and sends a field troll who grabs a plow and kills every one around.

I find the plows reasonably helpful as is, though they should probably be pulled, rather than pushed, and be renamed to Ard.

Okay guys, who hacked Jorbs account? Nobody believes this came from him.

Pardon me for being devil's advocate, but fields size and metal plow existence should be justified

sounds awfull
