i mean, bronze bein generally better than shitty iron, makes sence, bronze is actually an quite usefull alloy. but at this thime, the first bars of cast iron have been imediately reserved for steel, with nothing in between, people jumped from there q 30-60 bronze swords and boarspears directly intoo shitty b12. no hirdsmen, no fyrman,
but i dont think bronze should inherently be nerved, its good gear, and it makes sence that it is. but iron staying irelevant isnt good, and iron being essentially just raw steel, timegates or efforts aside, sucks .

For consideration on future worlds:

1st layer could have copper, but not bronze. Copper alone can realistically made into primitive metal tools that are currently called "tinker's" (unlike tin and lead.)

2st layer should add tin, to enable bronze.

Yeah, imagine you make a cast tin frying pan, like how does that make any sense

I understand that from a historical point of view, but the historical context for why the iron age existed is missing. Tin was rare as hell historically. Our entire progression system that was implemented this world has broken away from historical metal progression, and our old balancing system was somewhat based on that.

Unless we just stat bloat wrought and steel to compensate (and mucking with a lot of balancing), I think the easiest way is to rebalance the two major offenders.

With mining changes mentioned, I wanted to bump this thread. Not relevant at all right now, but when new world rolls around it will be pretty quickly. Would probably involve flipping the order of layers somewhat so iron shows before copper does.

MIGA!
