Signed. Getting hit by this should gib your character, preventing burial.

There is no reason we cannot affix a brimstone concoction made via alchemy to the end of each spear that would do such a thing. It could even do 3x3 damage to objects if we really want to have fun!

you can actually see how it looked if someone was hit by an ballista in teuteburg, there is no need for explosive tips, an slightly sharpened treetrunk coming at you will just obliterate the scraps that hang around the hole it digs through you, if you get buryed,

Nah. But we should be able to go to the roof of a tower, and doing so should allow us to shoot over palisades. Building a catapult up there would also allow us to shoot it over palisades. Would give a good reason for hermits to contest for sulphur, also giving towers an actual use. Not much balancing needed, I don't think that griefers would go through the effort of building an unclaimed stone tower and putting a catapult at the top of it just to fuck with someone. but if they do they probably earned the w. As it stands, sieging a fully protected claim is hard enough without alts, you need to build up your character and collect resources while also logging in constantly to check/defend your equipment while it dries. Meanwhile hermits just rely on the mechanics of the game to protect themselves, there's very little activity necessary to defend. If you give defenders more options then it might be fun
