If its possible to figure out what item triggered a discovery event, it can be logged ... in which case it should be doable.
If not, forget about it.

And how do you know which item triggered what discovery, without making a MANUAL LIST of 50-million possible items and their discoveries, knowing damn well jorb decides to break discoveries every 2 patches anyway?
I don't want to manually write a list for every single item in this game. Like take leaves for example. I'd have to keep track of all of them, see which food is discovered by each one, what other things can be crafted with each of them, and then what has already been discovered in terms of GENERIC leaf, and what is missing, etc. etc. etc.

Oh and what do you do if someone discovers them in a different client? Or when someone teaches you an item? You don't even see that item. HELL, it doesn't even tell you if you already knew the mysterious item, or if the person who taught you didn't know it in the first place. You get the same RETARDED generic message "this guy told you what you already know (which could be nothing, or maybe you already discovered the item, BUT FUCK YOU IF I WILL EVER TELL YOU)"

The stuff is saved on the server, but the client has no info about this whatsoever. The server doesn't tell the client what you discovered, it only tells you what you can craft.

I just wish we could get cool features instead of 50 mining supports, as if there was a fucking issue with mining in the first place. Thank god loftar at least fixes some problems with this game.

Please implement. The torture of not knowing how to unlock something is killer lol
