the problem isnt winter, its to little of it.

Facts tbh, winter isn't even bad anymore, the worst part about it is that it takes far too long for everything to freeze to enjoy it. sledding is great, mound beds make winter irrelevant to farming & tree planting. Speed up freezing time and winter is fixed tbh

This falls under the same argument that smaller world had, "but pvp tho". While yes, pvp is an integral element to the game, there are other things in the game other than pvp.

Loftar already stated that freezing time cannot be faster due to the heavy load on the map/server. It's a technical issue.

Lest start a petition to have a longer winter this world, I'd say at least an actual week of total freeze .... So kinda 10 days / a couple weeks

Biggest flaw of winter is the spotty ground.
At least freeze all the water instantly if its an issue freezing everything.

What if freezing/snowfall starts during autumn season, but during autumn, simply having an active claim stops all said effects from hitting your crops/trees etc?

I think haven only benefits from Snail's group quitting thanks to winter. I say add more winters if that's the end result!
