Nah fuck allat

  • Nobody wants to make more than one base, especially not thousands of tiles apart from each other. Too much time to set up and upkeep, alt shit with keys and curio, you have to choose which base contains your best industry, etc etc
  • having your main base on a secluded island is pure ass because you can’t mine under oceans - every serious village needs more iron than one little island can provide

at most it should be larp shit like trees you can replant elsewhere. Force Dakkan into a knarr to continue his rare tree murder spree

Bruh, I was agreeing with the general gist of your post and was responding more generally to the prior suggestions which contained the gem of an Idea of providing a 50-200% bonus to tree farming on an island.

No need to be so defensive.

Ah, indeed, seems like too much hassle even for big bois.
The idea was to add small amount of those PvP-zones / farm isles. Like one Treefarm Island per world, and so on. About 10-12 areas in total. Only for biggest player factions to fight for.
On second thought it will require crazy amount of dedication even from hardened big fraction players, so it just doesn't quite suit Hafen pacing.

...and you can't hire bunch of sprucecaps to maintain your Treefarm Isle, as those bastards will be selling your precious papaya wood on a black market.

No worries. Your misconception is that this would create PvP because it provides a bonus on an island. It wouldn't, it'd just add tedium to farming and tree growing.
