I feel like nobody thinks the questing for quality is such a huge deal bcs nobody abused it to a HUGE extent. There were the 900ql seals last world, but like, who cares, it's at a point when nobody cares. If someone actually tryharded making a bot questing network the quality could raise A LOT faster and it could be done on something more impactful than seals (gray clay for example).
Easy solution: Make quality rewards at least 100x rarer, have it raise quality for the entire world. Boom, do whatever you want with it, everyone benefits.
Better yet, quality boosts only available to wandering sages. So if you really want to you can credo and quest to raise quality for everyone. Group projects for deep world hermits.
I'm all for a "development" progression of a global world tied to questing, i don't really care that much but if it slowly made low quality animals not a thing it'd be great for long-term worlds. I still think questing should never make animals above their natural "max" quality.
