+1 for the idea and +1 for being a completely logical thread where you address your concern!

I like new change. It adds additional skill to pvp instead of smashing one attack button like handless chicken. I vote for -1 for toggle because it will bring back one button smash gameplay

it's very cool feature, so i think we need to have an option to togle it on/off, idk.

I agree, the ability to pursue should be removed entirely. Without it, the skill ceiling will be way higher, which will be better for the game.

Noobs, and people with bad ping or poor coordination can also participate. We can have them wear shields and run around as a distraction during fights, which helps take the heat off the pvpers. With this change, everyone will have something to do, and will be equally important.

Oh nightdawg. You are the type of guy to go to a comedy show and boo, because the comedian was really mean. Accusing? 0.0, even when there is barely any subtlety, things will never cease to fly over your head. This is partly why you scare me. Your ability to rationalize is so far removed from a normal person that I don't know what you'll do next.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

As a person that is not interested in PvP, I think this topic is uninteresting and should be pushed back. On an importance level it is much lower than flower beds idea which I need to make nice looking bases.

Honestly, I would agree with you if every custom "pvp" client wouldn't immediately implement the auto chase option back.

We don't have such option and I've already get used to spam click very close to opponent. ATM the change for me is pretty good.

However there is one problem, my good friend plays with 100-150ms and pursuit mode makes him unable to be good at pvp, very easy for me to change direction meanwhile his character still runs the same way

Can't work around this issue in custom clients either. Sadly.

This is very important please.. i wouldnt even argue that no pursuit mode is bad if wasnt cause of the latency issue. U can actually do some shenanigans cause of it, but high ping players are in a worse predicament right now
