It does not have to be different - unless the game is looking to grow and expand it's playerbase. Steam release signified, that "expanding the playerbase" is preferable. But the game mechanics did not comply with that.

I'm perfectly fine with this game only getting the players who likes the game as-is and are not trying to change it drastically. The peak player count increased by ~200 players compared to the previous world and its a pretty decent increase.
