Hunter credo is a bit more difficult, 1st quest I got is "Kill an Auroch".
Credos are certainly a pain in the ass for the devs to code (seasons for forageables as example).

I agree with the OP that credos should stick to their level.
Asking to a pearl diver to kill a Walrus is a heresy for example, and asking a fisherman to kill something is the same (should stick to his main job, making baits, catching & cooking fishes).
Fisherman isn't the only credo doomed by this and as mentioned Pearl Diver is the worst and Lumberjack is often more a remorseless beaver slaugtherer credo than a woodworker one.

pear diver isnt that bad because walri. its a very high end creedo at that point. and can expect you to be able to beat stuff.

the main problem is, that you have to spend multiple credos in the mines, for a credo that wants you to be outside.

nobody does this, just casually stripmining for gems, but spending their time outside hunting down the rivers. and your miners dont leave base on the outside.

so hunters/fighters/fishers are forced to larp miners for 2 creedos they dont need.

Some people play this game very pacifistically with only minor marksmen skills for smaller creatures and then farming/fishing/foraging.

I am not one of them, but i used to be so i get the appeal of not dumping combat stats.

correct me if i am wrong there, but arent swans way more easy than beavers?

in general i share your sentiment, rolled "study 2 beavertails" multiple times intoo itself,

but on the other hand, you can really be expected, to be able to kill a swan in the first week,

Bruh i got eat 2 dried bat wings, and had to wait for my hemp to finish for an herbalists table xD

No idea why Hunter would have something that is reliant on my crop timers.

oh, yes, other things like these, VERY wrong to get at start, and i mean at the start of the server: get 2-3 quests in a row like that, and you have very well to restart the credo from scratch, credos that are more down on the line became actually easier, it's obvious you can kill a few things when you get to miner credo, or diver, but you cannot expect people to pick up forager and have 100 exploration, for example (and then you may have a quest asking for gain 3 exploration)
