Maybe make so thatt tools(not weapons and shield cause that would create severel problems?) can be equipped on pouch slots and are used when needed without equipping tsacks and whatever is in the hands.
So a stone axe would behave as a tool but not as a weapon on the pouch slots.
Same thing for swords etc since tehy are still a cutting tool.

my issue with tsack in the hand slot is youre either running 2h spear, 2h b12 or sword and shield, you cant even fight to defend yourself if you dont having 1 of these 3 options

before shield up a lot of people ran tsack+sword but thats a bit shit now so tsack has become an sort of alt only item for around village

I wouldnt mind if it became an usable item again but would maybe a nerfed version for hip

i actually would fucking love this, especially if the tool in pouch overrode hand slot for things i.e holding a sword in hand but an axe in belt meant you cut with the axe

There should have been a few things ever allowed in the hip slot; water was not one of them, it forced the meta game onto it. Adding inventory to it just makes it further annoying to have to mid/max.
it legit went from "cool a slot that does not really matter and I can throw odd junk like keys, lantern onto" to "O OH OH to be a pvp god MORE WATER kek".

They need to rollback on that water feature, it's just as bad as every player needing to wear bunny slippers incase of pvp. now it's added need to wear water jugs incase of pvp.

200% agree. making an dedicated slot with no competition was the only way to make non stackable inventorys like the creel viable.
with jugs gettin in there, creels already are dead again.

and tsacks fitting in there would only further powercreep the slot. i mean, you can carry 25 gempouches, in the inventory the sacks give you alone, and 4-5 times the amount of fish/mussles.
also. you can fit more jugs in the inventory provided by the sack, than 2. so there would litterally be no other in slot option after the first week or two
