True. YouTube has livestreams these days, and many of the channels have this slightest speedbump where you need to have been subscribed to them 5 or 10 minutes before the chat. While obviously that does nothing to a dedicated hater-mob, it allegedly filters out something like 90% of the trolls. They will rather go find something else to do, than wait for the timer.
