It takes far too long to get any progress in the game to allow that crap

Why do you people keep on talking about stolen bodies? It's not like it matter that much if your body got taken or not. Either way to recover full amount of your stats you need to do the numen bullshit. The only difference is that you need to cast the spell few more times if you don't have a body to bury.

Sureeee, lets go with numens, the system that only ever asks for things you don't have on hand. Would you happen to have a Druid Garb, Golden nugget, or Golden Egg?
Cause those are my options, else I have to abandon and reset the few points I have

I don't like doing numens either, but pretending they're too hard for hermits is just discrediting yourself

I tend to have extremely bad luck with Numens and it tends to ask for difficult to acquire items quite often.
Ultimately, had to abandon the last one and current one is thankfully MUCH easier: fig leaf to complete or driftwood/tansy to reset. Most of them I'm not so lucky

Ive said it many times but currently 1 of the biggest fails of death system which is easy fix is dont inherit 100% of your previous hunger. For ppl in early world or new players in general this literally means youre better off not inheriting but doing fresh start. Which is ridiculous. They need to make it so you inherit the same % of hunger as you inherited stats. It shouldnt be the case that inheriting is not worth doing.

NA, the biggest fail is you only inherit 10% if you die in pvp

There's like 4 threads talking about the same issues at the same time...

I only see to ways to go: real permadeath (bye bye character, no inheritance) or no death.
There's no benefit of having anything in between.

Real permadeath is punishing, making PvP more risky but also more rewarding (knowing you wiped your enemy's character).

No death is forgiving, meaning the worst thing that can happen to you is getting robbed after being KOed. This is pretty lame for PvP, as it's low-risk low reward; anyone involved will likely be able to replace all their gear in a matter of hours. Hermits will still get fucked by this, as they are the ones that usually go around with gear they can't replace as easily.

So I say make death really permanent.

There is no real pvp outside of valhalla. In the game it's nothing but trolls laying in wait to ambush anyone stronger than them till there's no one left to stand against them then the world resets.

And why is that?

Could it maybe be because PvP is pointless right now?
Maybe instead of death, we should rework PvP and stuff that could incentivise it (like Realms)

The answer is simple.
1. In Valhalla everyone in on equal footing
2. In Valhalla there is no penalty for death, thus you don't have to worry about loosing months worth of progress in seconds from a group of trolls who don't care about the pvp as you do, rather they just want to bully everyone off the game
3. In Valhalla, all combat skills are unlocked by default while in the main game, it's a massive grind to unlock all the abilities just to lose them all after getting ambushed
4. In Valhalla, there is no bandit Mask thus no anonymity, one of the worst parts of the game
5. Good luck getting enough learning points to purchase "murder" while in Valhalla as you don't get exp there and all learned skills reset when you leave thus even if someone got it, they wouldn't be able to keep it

So the first point of business should be removing Valhalla
