More mandatory credos, I'm sure that will bring joy to everyone.

"or just hunting"
Nobody is forcing you to do credos. Wearing bunny slippers aren't mandatory either despite what everyone who pvps thinks. The speed buff is really just situational, if there aren't any rabbits around it literally doesn't matter.

I like the idea that the buff could be an excuse for a new evil rabbit dungeon but I also agree with what sheep said that the buff should be easily available.

Why would anyone want to remove speed buff of bunny slippers? Ya stupid or something. It helps with hunting smaller animals, they look cute (so more girl gamers) and it helps hermits to avoid the annoying buzzing pvpers, heck have bunny slippers in your inventory, so as pvper when you see someone running away with them, just equip them. Don't get the why the complain and the remove convenience to a player unique item.

Because it grants an advantage to players with an auto-equip script who can situationally switch between bunny slippers and otherwise better footwear, and because it discourages the use of literally every other type of footwear.

Most people aren't arguing for the bunny speed bonus itself to be removed, but to get the boost in some way that does not require you to give up your footwear slot.

Just remove it.

Instead make it so small animals you chase are slower instead, so the "PvE" side of the buff is maintained. same with credo buff.

Some people like the mechanic of speedup when it comes to chasing animals.
Is it automated clicking to speed up? yes. not all clients
Is there "pvp modes that make mobs bigger and easier to click? yes
Is the boot switching automated? yes, typically to steel and bunny when chasing a mob.
Is it skill based? only for people not using the automated clients, people who say otherwise are coping.

Many of the clothing in this game needs buffs, bunny shoes are the only one that needs a nerf.

As I said earlier, putting the buff or mechanic onto anything else would be ideal, it's always mandatory for pvp (again coping if someone says otherwise) but
- Skill you need to buy? sure
- creedo? as long as it's early and one of the first.
- a simple dungeon easier then ant dungeon, sure why not.
- Rare gildings, no fk right off. Rabbitfoot is 1/50 rabbits.

Removing it from the game is an choice, and kinda funny because the same pvpers will complain one day how someone got way to easily from them and another day they'll be made how skillbased and makes combat interesting.

Removing it is boring. I don't even understand what you mean by automation. I honestly can't tell if you're saying it because it's a funny meme or not anymore.

+1. Rare gilding with unique effect. PROs: another valuable currency, another flexible slot for pvp players, requires rotation from time to time if you want to change an item

If you actually want it to be cool add a super early rabbit dungeon that's basically teaching you how to run and drink and gives you the speed when chasing the bunnies inside of it and when you finish it you get it outside too. But more realistically withing the expectations I hold for the devs, the best case scenario is just adding both this and the forager credo boost as a new skill that costs like 1k lp or smth "Pursuing" w/e, could also include the pursuing boost in that and have it all explained in a description which would be as good as it gets with ingame tutorials in haven.

as long as the speed up exists it will be mandatory. If its a gilding, if its a dungeon buff, if its another piece of equipment.. whatever it is, if it gives speed buffs it will be mandatory in pvp. Sure changing it to a gilding "frees" up the shoe slot, but if you make it a gilding like woodsmen token, every piece of equipment will have to have this mandatory gilding on it.. WHICH makes it even worse because its easier to only have rabbit shoes on rn while out and about but more annoying to have a full gilding set while outside. People are saying make it rarer. which Is stupid, I echo Mightysheep here it has to be easy enough everyone can get without grind so no one can complain.

I will say that if everyone is running around with rabbit shoes on anyway. or in whatever implementation it could change too, simply removing it is the best option because now its not mandatory and everyone is at the same speed before and after anyway. SURE you could argue that its a fun combat skill to be able to click on bunnies mid fight. I have seen an "auto click on small game" button in 1-2 clients before but it is what it is.

I would just argue that we are trying to solve a flaw in the combat design instead of just actually looking at an interesting combat system. TBH its not far off being totally fine we just need more abilities instead, maybe jump gives you a % increase in speed for a second. maybe zig-zag slows you down for second, Maybe there is a simple ability you can spend IP in exchange for % speed buff, or slow down. Maybe Flex "scares" stuns your op for 0.5 seconds, maybe ability that clears debuffs/buffs whatever...

All I read from this is "Movement buffs is a key part of combat" maybe lean into it, give 80% of the combat moves some sort of movement based ability, sure one move might end up being OP and mandatory, not saying it will be balanced initially, but it would certainly be better then "I gotta wear these shitty rabbit shoes and always do credo" hell have the credo give us some none-passive combat move (or stance) for chasing animals that auto clicks on the closet small game and gives you speed buff.

A while back there was talks about boss fights being boring, takes like 5 mins to think of some interesting movement mechanic for boss fights, - avoid zones, "run during this ability" - "hug during this ability" - "stand still while x is happening".. its a side tangent on combat in general but It surprises me that they have not added the 3rd dimension of movement to combat decks. (Openings/Restorations being the other 2).

TLDR: bunny shoe buff problem is a symptom of it being the only movement tech in combat which should be expanded instead of focusing on bunny slippers themselves.

I do basically agree that it needs to either be removed entirely or made completely ubiquitous, I just think it would be cuter if the small animal speed boost was more of an Unlock that you earn (rare gilding,) instead of just being an always-on thing for all characters starting on day like .75 with the new speedup.
