Hunger reduce rewards are quite often. I can say 7/10 of my rewards are for hunger reduction

Your hunger is bad and the game is trying to fix it for you. Once it's above 150% you won't be getting any of them at all.
With a good enough table you won't be getting to that point unless you eat like a pig.

What happened to your main? You should put "2011 year account" into your signature, or people will try to teach you the basics all the time.

If it is factually correct that players get -hunger rewards after a certain threshold in hunger level, and you report having these rewards quite often, then it is factually correct that your hunger is, in a way that the game threshold placed, "bad".

I guess the main point here is whether hunger quest bonuses should exist in game or not.

I agree that they're way too breaking when you watch stats gap of people who quest for hunger and those who don't.

Okey, to summarize because it's starting to be offtop

Right now it's possible to eat till 100% hunger or even less without any consequences because

if hunger < 150%
you do a few quests

then
your hunger is back to 150

This way hunger mechanic doesn't work and what stopping chars from fepping is satiation only

This causes hunger mechanic to doesn't work at all. Salt is issue as well.

If hunger doesn't work, then why we even have it in game?

I think the bonus is small enough, and questing boring enough, that it's not really being abused.
If you want to get it nerfed, make a road network between all quest givers in a network on new world and spam food and quests hard enough to make a compelling argument by showing worst case scenario, I guess? I'm not even sure this is possible anymore with the frog quest givers.

If you're successful I probably still would not care but I bet others would.

You forgot to mention that doing quests and preparing food takes a lot of time. With bad hunger, you'll need to eat much more due to the wacky hunger math, which even decreases the variety bonus.
It’s a classic example of diminishing returns. Hunger isn’t a strict limiter; it's more like a rubber band pulling you back so you won’t get too far ahead of others too quickly. If you push hard enough, you’ll eventually hit the daily quest limit: viewtopic.php?p=830092#p830092

Most PvP players are doing just fine without questing much. The stat gap comes from eating off that shiny golden plate made by the hardcore miner and cooking the right stuff, not from questing ad infinitum.

ngl, I don't think it would be too far-fetched to say that hunger reduction quests are just hungercide in a trenchcoat
