Bwahaha! If Toadds can do it, why not? Adding hats to the animals was a very good change btw, A+. I actually wouldn't mind if animals occasionally asked for specific 'wants' and exercise, i.e. ponies getting stir crazy and giving a quest to empty their pony power to 20%, pigs wanting to hunt truffles, or be fed specific foraged items (in season, if you please).

Perhaps this is true, but with botting in mind, I still feel strongly that a flat bonus will not affect the game that much. It's the percentage bonuses that are more... difficult? Problematic? Rational functions in Calculus illustrate this point well. In a rational function, the leading term determines the shape of the graph, and the smaller terms can simply be ignored*. Similarly, as time goes on in the game world, the larger bonuses (such as those from credos) surely make a bigger impact on quality than any flat bonus, even with theoretically 'perfect' play.
* Admittedly, my memory of Calculus is a bit hazy. You can do your own research by looking up, 'Why can I ignore the smaller terms in a rational function?'
