Make it easy to walk into houses/caves with horses

however, i have no clue about how hard that would be to implement, so it comes down to how much time it would take to make this change

It's either "mounted player's hitbox extended forward to match the horse's hitbox" or re-doing the entrance mechanic. Both options are highly volatile and might, nay, WILL cause gamebreaking bugs because loftar.

I see. Yes, improving one's life is good, but the main thing is that this improvement isn't ultimately used to make others' lives worse.

Regulus2424 is alluding to the ability called 'Raw Hide', which effectively prevents pursuers from using horses to attack people. Apparently.

Now I understand. Thank you. Yes, it will prevent you from pursuing someone on horseback, but not everyone knows about such magic. And not everyone will remember it if they don't have experience with it.
