okay, so now you are making me think that YOU are one of the snail crew just trying to derail my thread.

I'm not sure how much more clear I can get here.

I like snail, I think he is funny, I genuinely thought his gameplay was funny at first, but now I am bored of it and pretty vocal about it in all parts of the community.

I am personally interested in playing a Haven that does not include PVPers or griefers at all.

I want to larp and have PvE developed in to something cool, or at the very least - have PVP be opt in only.

you're very adamant. i'm not going to argue the specifics because your entire suggestion leans on support for a 'lesser' evil rather than an actual solution (the possibility of grief with optional pvp rather than griefing through pvp)

have you considered that the devs like the playstyle that snail-likes participate in? i can't imagine they're dumb enough to be surprised this game dies so quickly when they seem to obfuscate every requirement and method of self defense while catering to high end pvp and casual newb slaughtering

the only takeaway is that they enjoy this sort of thing happening and possibly even support the elitist sentiment that props up over veterans vs casuals

sadly moderating abuse is not realistic

this solution might be enough to mitigate the problem, and I think any new problems that arise because of it will be much easier to detect and deal with if jorb should choose to want to do so

No, it wouldn't require it, but it might be better with it.

and I believe that moderating griefing would be way easier than moderating and fixing bad and unfair pvp mechanics
