reading half of the posts in here you'd think that you all hate every aspect of this game and wish jorb and loft would roll their cars off a cliff at the exact same time with the amount of loathing and seething venom that some of you give off

credos ok, could be better like about anything could. fix the shit that makes them impossible with seasonality and maybe do some stuff to make quests more relevant to an area around you so you don't have to crawl across five continents to get something for it or walk for 10 hours just to talk to the one boulder that was assigned to be your carer for the evening. personally I'd also like them to feel a bit more enjoyable along the path, have the quests actually feel a bit more personable and like there's actually growth in them. the journey should be just as enjoyable as the destination itself

also yea either you want people to be able to only use one character and allow them to be jack of all trades or you encourage alting bc you know damn well that the path of least resistance is the one that players will always take and using alts instead of finding a dedicated group of players who will each perform a specific task of their own is way more likely to actually happen

Ty man, we need a more reliable resarch on the topic, but most actual player i met have the same overall opinion "credos are not bad per se, but need some rework to avoid mild annoyances" like the ones you mentioned.
The only reason i'm persisting in this thread is to not let botters win, they seem to be fully commited to the game, and they are a vocal minority. I hope it enlightened your question, why ppl that play some muhc of this game seems to hate it? well... my answer is, they are trying to manipulate it. Simple as that.

credos give a goal to strive for, which is nice
it is indeed annoying and terrible that they scale like this, and that every world you have to either do it again or stay without credos, so maybe something could be done about it
but the concept itself is good, as long as we do not have to end up in a situation like this or similar

knowing that stat cap is gone since a long time already, we would still be able to find something to do even if we completed all credos we wanted to have
